As the sun rises over our wonderful community, it’s clear the weather is on our side. We’ve got a beautiful, clear day ahead of us, perfect for the festivities that will transform Mass Ave into a bustling hub of excitement, community, and local spirit. From 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., you’ll find everything from local vendors and delicious food to live entertainment and activities for all ages, stretching from Jason Street to Pleasant Street.

It’s a fantastic opportunity to connect with neighbors, discover local businesses, and simply enjoy the vibrant atmosphere that makes Arlington so special. Traffic on this section of Mass Ave will be rerouted, making it a pedestrian paradise, so come ready to stroll, explore, and soak it all in.

Join the Arlington Emergency Management Agency and our friends at the Hardy Elementary School PTO for a spooktacular evening at the first-ever Trunk or Treat event. It’s happening tonight, on October 27, 2023, at the Hardy School Parking Lot from 6:15 to 7:30.

👻 What to Expect: Get ready for a night filled with Halloween fun and community spirit! Families are invited to decorate their car trunks with creative and creepy themes, creating a safe and festive space for trick-or-treating. It’s a fantastic alternative to traditional door-to-door trick-or-treating and provides a unique opportunity for everyone to showcase their Halloween spirit.

Last night marked a spectacular event as members of the Arlington Emergency Management Agency collaborated seamlessly with the dedicated teams from Arlington Police, Fire, and DPW to bring you the rescheduled Town Night Fireworks near the enchanting Spy Pond. It was a night filled with community spirit, laughter, and of course, breathtaking fireworks that lit up the sky.

Our dedicated team at the Arlington Emergency Management Agency took center stage in ensuring the safety and enjoyment of all attendees. We proudly introduced our latest addition, the innovative light tower, which, combined with Lighting One and the AirSupply units, illuminated the field in a dazzling display. These measures were put in place to guarantee that the entire area was well-lit, providing a safe environment for spectators to navigate and fully immerse themselves in the festivities.

The Rescheduled Town Night Fireworks became a magnet for families seeking a delightful evening of entertainment. With the majestic fireworks painting the night sky above the Arlington Boys and Girls Club, the atmosphere was nothing short of magical. The event served as a joyful reunion for many families, fostering a sense of togetherness and community pride.
